Hive & Heart was born from a simple yet profound realization: families deserve a village.
Life's most meaningful moments are meant to be experienced together, yet being present can sometimes mean balancing more responsibilities than one person can comfortably carry. We believe that thoughtful support, even in small ways, can make a lasting difference.
Rooted in Idaho and inspired by the power of community, Hive & Heart brings hospitality and compassionate, non-medical event care together to support the people who make every gathering meaningful. From weddings and celebrations to community events and life's unexpected moments, our approach recognizes that every event is different, and the support surrounding it should be, too.
We believe every child deserves a safe, engaging space to explore, play, and grow, while the adults who care for them have greater peace of mind to enjoy the moments that matter. By thoughtfully tailoring support to each gathering, we aim to help families feel cared for, hosts feel supported, and everyone experience more of what brought them together.

Hive & Heart is dedicated to providing compassionate, non-medical event care and companionship in Idaho. We believe every celebration should be inclusive, allowing families to fully enjoy life’s meaningful moments while we provide the warmth and support they need.
Meet the Founder
With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality, spanning restaurants, serving, catering, and events, I have spent much of my career learning what it means to care for people and create meaningful experiences. My professional background also includes more than five years in staffing and recruiting, boutique hotel hospitality, and nonprofit events, alongside studies in child education, psychology, and sociology.
Hospitality taught me the importance of anticipating needs, paying attention to the details, and creating experiences where people feel welcomed and supported. Staffing and recruiting deepened my understanding of people, individual strengths, and the importance of bringing the right people together for the right roles.
Across these experiences, one idea continued to stand out: exceptional support begins with understanding people. Every family, gathering, and environment has different needs, and thoughtful care should reflect those differences.
That perspective inspired me to envision something beyond traditional childcare: a more comprehensive approach to event support that considers the experience of the entire gathering. Hive & Heart brings my background in hospitality and people-centered work together with a belief that care, connection, and community belong at the heart of life's meaningful moments.
Inspired by the Hive
As a beekeeper, I find inspiration in the way a hive functions as a connected whole. Each member contributes to something greater, and the strength of the colony comes from the work they do together.
That philosophy is woven into Hive & Heart. I believe that no one should have to do everything alone, and that even a little additional support can make a meaningful difference. Building a village means recognizing what each person brings, stepping in when support is needed, and creating something stronger through connection.
Idaho is where I found a community that has become deeply meaningful to me. Seeing the ways people show up for one another has strengthened my belief that care is not simply something we provide; it is something we build together.
My hope is for Hive & Heart to become a trusted resource for the community, growing in ways that help more people feel supported through life's gatherings, celebrations, and unexpected moments.
